Intertek Engineering Service Shanghai Limited （Intertek-ies) is a subsidiary of Intertek Group Plc of UK, founded in 1992. Intertek-ies is a comprehensive engineering consultation enterprise and specially engaged in supervision over project construction and project equipments, bidding agent, engineering consultancy, consultation about cost of the project, and other services in mainland China.

Its business has run across over 20 provinces and municipalities in China. Based on 14 years of experiences of project supervision, management and consultation, the company has been granted the double Class A qualifications integrating Class A qualification for supervision over project construction approved by the Ministry of Construction and Class A qualification for supervision over project equipments approved in Shanghai Municipality.

The supervised projects have repeatedly won "Luban Award" of China construction project, "National Quality Project Silver Medal" and various awards issued by provinces, cities and regions and won the praise from customers, government departments and the public.

Upholding the concept that talent is the strategic capital of enterprise and supporting point for enterprise survival and development, the company has specially set up a professional technical committee and education and training center, and cultivated a group of professional and technical personnel in the industries such as housing construction, urban rail transit, municipal bridge, cross-river tunnel, petrochemistry, equipment manufacture supervision and installation and etc. Now, the company has more than 1300 employees including more than 200 various registered personnel, as well as IPMP project management experts, PMP project managers and chartered builders.
